Did you know free and confidential coaching is available to NHS staff from ethnic minority backgrounds? The Looking After You Too (LAYT) coaching service for NHS colleagues from ethnic minority backgrounds is a one-to-one support offer which helps unlock personal and professional potential whilst supporting wellbeing.

It offers a safe, judgement-free space to talk about issues that are important to the individual receiving coaching, allowing them to explore management strategies for current experiences, to deal with difficult conversations, or discuss approaches to personal and professional development all the while ensuring that wellbeing remains a priority.

No details are shared with employers and the coaches are external to the NHS. For more information and how to book a coaching session, please visit: www.england.nhs.uk/supporting-our-nhs-people/support-now/ support-for-our-diverse-colleagues/

Feedback from our coaches:

“Through coaching, we help them become more aware and see the possibilities,” Lelly

“I believe the coaches are experts of their own life. My role is to hold the space for them to reflect and find solutions to the challenges they are dealing with.” Jacquie
