We are pleased to share a range of resources from Optima Health, designed to support colleagues across different stages of life and work. Whether you’re navigating caring responsibilities, planning for your wellbeing in the year ahead, or seeking practical tools for mental health, these materials offer guidance and support.

The Sandwich Generation: Managing Dual-Caring Duties
An estimated one million people in the UK are juggling childcare alongside caring for older relatives. This article explores the emotional, physical and practical challenges faced by “sandwich carers,” and signposts to organisations offering support, including Carers UK and local authority services.

Wellness Action Plans (WAPs)
Developed by Mind, WAPs are a proactive tool to help you manage mental health at work. They encourage reflection on what keeps you well, identification of potential triggers, and conversations about adjustments that could help you thrive.

2026 Wellbeing Calendar
Optima Health’s year-long calendar takes a holistic approach, covering monthly themes including financial resilience, nutrition, neurodiversity, and navigating loss. Each month offers articles, podcasts and expert guidance to inspire positive change.

These resources can be accessed via your Workplace Wellbeing website or by speaking with your Optima Health representative.
